A new funding call will be announced from March 2026. There are currently no funding calls open at present. A list of the successfully awarded projects from the June funding call can be viewed on the ‘Funded Projects 2025/26’ tab.

Funding Streams
The RIPEN Hub will receive £250,000 per annum from the BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council) - Diet and Health Open Innovation Research Club to fund research across three streams. The three streams are:
Feasibility Award, (a maximum value of £100,000 with matched funding from an industrial partner)
Mobility Award, each with a maximum value of £100,000
Progression Award, each with a maximum value of 50,000
